Problem turned out to be "pkunzip". I switched to "unzip32" and was 
finally able to successfully build the libs and the test/demo programs. 
   Of course now I run into the next problem.  WinXP won't roll back to 
640X480 so demogrx works but the menu screen is hosed-up.

Oh well, another 'opportunity'.
