Not sure how to explain this except that when I run a program from Rhide, pressing escape pops up the Windows Start Menu. Usually, restoring the Ride execution (with the mouse menu on the taskbar) and pressing Shift+ESC will cause the ESC to work 'as advertised'. But sometimes it gets 'stuck' bad, it affects the GUI itself, and the only solution I have of fixing it is restarting windows.
