libsocket 0.8.0 (ls080) is the last release from the middle of 2002. It should
work fine with 2.03, although I have no idea how well it compiles with later
gcc 3.x's.

Note that it doesn't work very well with anything later than Windows '95,
because the Winsock 2 support isn't very good. It's also unsupported.

But if you're trying to get something to compile, it might do the job.
