Date: Mon, 14 Apr 2003 20:13:37 -0700 Mime-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; format=flowed Message-ID: X-OriginalArrivalTime: 15 Apr 2003 03:13:37.0379 (UTC) FILETIME=[01A09B30:01C302FD] This is a basic question (and I hope I'm sending this to the right address, sorry if it ends up in the wrong place): I've programmed in C under DOS and unix, and I've done a little with GTK, but Windows always baffles me. A DLL is like a unix .so, correct? If so, how do I link them, and where can I get the appropriate header files for things like the core Windows DLLs (for basic Windows apps, and OpenGL (theorectically I should be able to use the same libraries that came with Q3A or a similar game, correct?), and the like) Or am I missing something entirely? If someone could shed some light on the subject, it would be appriciated. _________________________________________________________________ MSN 8 with e-mail virus protection service: 2 months FREE* http://join.msn.com/?page=features/virus
