Thanks for the info...I've downloaded the 2.04 alpha stuff & will try
it.

That my slightly older release works as well as it does on my Win2k
machine tells me y'all do right fine work!  Much appreciated by me.

Now, if I could only find a user-space keyboard remapper that puts the
CTRL key next to the A key, where it should be...:-)
