True. For an attempt at reproducing the problem I thought it would not have
been required. If someone had said they tried to reproduce the problem but
could not that's when you start looking at differences in setup.

The original email said I use Win2K. Crystal ball not required. About djgpp
vs DJGPP, will do. I'm sure the folks that maintain MinGW would appreciate
you capitalizing that properly as well. I didn't realize that DJGPP is aimed
at DOS instead of Windows. Thanks for that info.

That's the thing. I don't really need help, I offered a problem description
and my solution. If the DJGPP community feels this is not a problem worth
investigating or fixing that is fine. I'm not blocked.

I have 3 IDE controllers, 2 on my mobo, 1 in a PCI slot. Video editing takes
up a lot of space. Plus I have a hard time letting go of old hard drives
when I upgrade :-)
