Gvim 6.1 handles it exactly the same way.

Instead of typing 

        jkhjkhjhjkhjk

add a semicolon (;) to the end, like this

        jkhjkhjhjkhjk;

See if that causes Rhide to put the } in the correct place.  It works with
Gvim.
