This isn't a djgpp issue, this is a programmer issue.  If you have
files that aren't 8.3 compatible (i.e. they clash when reduced to 8.3
names, or include characters that aren't valid 8.3), then you need to
figure out what to do.  DJGPP itself (i.e. any program built with a
djgpp compiler) will automatically switch from long to short filenames
according to what the OS provides.
