I downloaded and installed:
   g7733b-experimental.zip
   gcc33b-experimental.zip

>~ $g77 --version

and can verify that invocations of g77 of the form

>g77 test.r -o test.exe

(where where test.r is a ratfor program) appear to work just fine with the
unmodified (i.e. with <unistd.h> getopt) ratfor.

I plan to submit a GCC bug report.  Thanks for taking the time to consider
my little problem and for your on-going efforts with djgpp gcc.
