No, because ANSI C doesn't even assume there is such a thing as a
"keyboard" in existence on the machine the program will run on.  If
there is, it's up to the operating system to supply extensions to
access it.  A "curses" library is about the most portable way to do
that.  DJGPP has "PDcurses" for that.
