DJGPP (perhaps it is GCC in general?) seems to be missing a lot of the
wide character support that is in the ANSI C++ standard.  For example,
std::wstring, std::wcout, swprintf, etc. (I could go on).  Some of
these are easy to get around (wstring can be typedef'd as
basic_string<wchar_t>), but others -- such as swprintf -- aren't so
easy to work around and thus cause issues when porting code from other
more ANSI-compliant compilers.

Is there a patch or something that will add the full wide character
support that I need?  Thanks.
