You mentioned that you got it to compile with djgpp. That means (unless i didn't post all the relavent code), that the functions that i have no clue about may be in a library included with djgpp. Could you tell me the settings/makefile/arguments you used to compile this. Of course, now that i think about it... you may not have linked it, so maybe the libraries aren't there. But, if it compiled, then the headers were there for the definition of the low level functions in question. thanx, dr green
