I'm on Win2000. rhide does not crash on me, either in full screen or not. Everything seems to work just fine with the editor, setting options, etc. Just not the compile. I have not used any switches when starting up rhide, nor have I checked the 'make' which I will do tonite. I have compiled with the following .bat file and it works great. Generates a good executable, etc.: gcc -g -c %1.cpp -o %1.o gcc -o %1.exe %1.o -lstdcxx I will definitely try your suggestions (including download the 1.5) and let you know what happens.
