Greetings - Send FREE e-cards for every occasion! Ultimately, you'll have to learn to solve problems by yourself because this is what a programmer does! What you need to run Rhide+Gcc: djdev203 rhide*b gcc*b gpp*b (lgp if gcc <3.00) txi40b Get them from ftp.simtel.net/pub/simtel.net/msdos/v2* Extract all these zips (with directories) to a clean directory (e.g. c:\djgpp) (overwriting older files with newer, just in case) and now for the interesting part: Modify your autoexec.bat (or sth similar) and add these lines to some "good" place: set path=%path%;c:\djgpp\bin djgpp=c:\djgpp\djgpp.env Please adapt paths (should be rather obvious). Then start c:\djgpp\bin\rhide and there you (should) go! If anything I typed here is unclear you better try to get used to command line work because this is what you will need later. Yet another thing: This newsgroup is (afaik) here to ask rather smart questions. It can't be societies task to teach you how to use a computer. So you have to think first by yourself. Imagine how many newbies are out there. If everyone would ask in such a way you did news servers would go down! So please: Get a good book and start trying, not bugging! Yet another thing: Always try to give as much (relevant) info as you can when you ask questions. We still don't know which OS you use, what DJGPP version and what you _exactly_ did to install djgpp. Well I hope you're not too disillusioned now! Good luck! Bernd
