What are you trying to do with Allegro? Are you using Allegro 4.0? Are you using the latest DJGPP tools from Simtel (by version and then date)? I could compile and run the demos when I had W2K installed and now under 2K it still works. I use the timer & jeyboard heavily under W2K in a comms program.
