It's a BIOS function; take a look at the termios sources in the DJGPP
library (djlsr203.zip, file name src/libc/posix/termios/tminit.c).  If
you can suggest a better way, please do.

It probably interprets that as some special command, but I don't have
time to investigate this, unforunately.
