Might I add that I have tested my code on a >sleuth of ATI video cards and a TNT2 card from Diamond and it worked >fine... so I patiently await any comments you may have... thnx you. I wrote a VBE wrapper myself (for Watcom, though), which works fine on my Voodoo 3 2000 PCI card. My test program request VBE2, even though the card supports VBE3. So I don't think it's the card. If you care to follow up in e-mail, perhaps you can send the relevant source code and I can take a look at it (if you don't have anything against that). My question is, though, why not just use Allegro? ------- AndrewJ "*Plonk* and good riddance, moron." - Jack Klein.
