For a reason still unclear to me, I have put unformated man pages *instead* of formated ones in the binary package. Sorry. > This was very strange. After unzipping the archive (and before updating > `dir') just typing `info find' produced a crash and stack trace. Yet [snip] The find.texinfo file contains a bug that I have never noticed before. The node: top is incomplete. This means it looks like: @node Top, Introduction, , (dir) @comment node-name, next, previous, up instead of: @node Top, Introduction, (dir), (dir) @comment node-name, next, previous, up When info is invoked as: info find I get the error message: Can not find node top. with the distributed info files. Of course the same happens when a find entry is invoked from the DIR menu. With the fixed find.texinfo and DIR from djdev203.zip every thing works O.K. You do not need to run install-info. All entries for findutils in DIR work as they should do. I have tested the fixed find.infos with MSDOS 6.22 and WIN 31 and I had no trouble at all. I will send today or tomorrow new source und binary packages to Delorie so in a couple of days they will appear on Simtel. Excuse any inconveniences caused. Regards, Juan M. Guerrero
