Yes, I installed on a local drive and it worked first time.

Going back to the network installation, I've found (after pressing ctrl-c)
that the test.exe file was 11meg. For a cut down "hello world" program this
is seriously weird. Why is it creating the test.exe in the djgpp\bin dir,
when the current dir is djgpp\contrib\tvision.

I did get the network installation to work by starting with gcc -c test.c
and progressively adding the command options until it created test.exe
properly, then run configure again.

The problem is reproducable each time from a new install.
