It wouldn't surprise me in the least to find that GCC produces better code than
Watcom, or any other compiler FTM, now.  But years ago, Watcom was the king,
baby.  ;)

Someday I'm going to do a bit of research and find which is the best optimizing
compiler (at the instruction level), but for now, I suggest we all let this
topic die, since Damian and I sort of beat it to death a while back. <g>
