See SET's page for details. It wouldn't surprise me in the least to find that GCC produces better code than Watcom, or any other compiler FTM, now. But years ago, Watcom was the king, baby. ;) Someday I'm going to do a bit of research and find which is the best optimizing compiler (at the instruction level), but for now, I suggest we all let this topic die, since Damian and I sort of beat it to death a while back.
