They don't want to make profit out of it. The Distributors make their profits by givin support. I think you can't speak of a comercial purpose, if distributors like RedHat or SuSE sell their CDs with a thick book for not more than 100$ (79DM its here in Germany). Also, you can download the whole Distribution for free if you want, or purchase a copy with a computer-magazine (happens often here in Germany) Sandos
