There are no memory models in DJGPP, so you need not bother with this.  
You have access to all the memory that the DPMI server lets you use 
(typically, at least 64MB).

This is fine for C++ programs.  I suggest to add -Wall, to get more 
diagnostics from the compiler, and add -g to be able to debug the 
programs with a source-level debugger.
