Well, i was working on an AVI player, and got it to read all the headers and
what not correctly, but when i went to output the image, i got nothing but a
solid white square.  I was working with completely uncompressed images.
Maybe i was handling the bitmaps wrong or something. i dunno, but i gave up
due to lack of time.  Then I was looking at some other GPL stuff, and my
head blew up trying to understand some of that code. Then codecs got into
the mess...

But I gave it the old college try.
