Having them in a header file is not enough. A header file
usually only contains some definitions so the compiler knows
what to expect. The linker needs to have the actual code to
biuld a program. So when the linker complains that items are
undefined, this usually means that you forgot to compile
something or that you didn't tell the linker the name of the
library where it can find the items it was looking for.

Did you run a makefile for your network stuff? If so, you
probably have a new library (lib???.a file) somewhere. Find it
and feed it to the linker together with your application.
