Well David, I haven't come across a library called comm.a which comes with the default DJGPP distribution, but maybe you installed a package which added a library called comm.a to /djgpp/lib. Could you please tell us whether this program which says missing comm.a file etc compiled without any error *before* installing the new version of djgpp. If earlier it compiled perfectly then perhaps there would have been a comm.a file installed by a some package written for DJGPP in the djgpp\lib\ directory, and maybe it would have got deleted when the 2.95 was installed. BTW when you installed 2.95 did you delete any files in the DJGPP directory etc.. If this doesn't help could you please post more information, like what is the program you are trying to compile, it's makefile etc.. any other programs it might depend on. Grendel Hi, I'm a signature virus. plz set me as your signature and help me spread :)
