Here are some other problems I've encountered with using DJGPP in Windows
2000 (the final release, not a release candidate):


There's a problem with rename'ing a file to a file that already exists. This
bug causes the strip command to fail. Setting LFN=N causes the problem to go
away.

The ls command causes the scrollback buffer to be cleared, the scrollbar to
appear and disappear, and screws up the $P$G prompt if it has a long
filename.

The make command dies at unpredictable points in the build process.
Continuing to type the same make command will eventually cause the target to
be made.
