This seems to be something specific to your system configuration.
Please post here your CONFIG.SYS, AUTOEXEC.BAT, DJGPP.ENV, the
output of the command "set" when typed from the DOS prompt, and the
output of the command "env" when typed from the Bash prompt.

What Operating System is this, btw?
