this could be wrong but give it a try:

PATH=%PATH%;C:\DJGPP\BIN;
set DJGPP=C:\DJGPP\DJGPP.ENV

the above is relevant if you have unzipped your stuff into C:\DJGPP
directory.
PS perhaps you should wait for replies from some of the more experienced
DOS dudes/ladies - i am not a pro (even remotely) when it comes to DOS.
