I mean i have been told that one needs to load this and that - i wouldn't have a clue (i must admit - this is another case of me trying to "test-before-using" - i am thinking of either running DOS or slackware-Linux on old crappy 486 - so would be good if i just could try on DOS with all those appropriate settings and then compare the performance on Slackware (that one i seem to have going...)
