How do I convert a string such as "blabla.bla" to a char* [] so that
Allegro's datafile init doesn't complain?

Also, (oos), I have a problem with Rhide, I tell it to make my tabs 3
characters, then I save my configuration and it works.  But if I exit
and reload, the tabs are back a 8.  Anyone have this problem?.
