I'm asking here because DJGPP gets a lot of power out of : low-resource computers (well by today's standards), and you have the : GNU ideology of pride in good software, and you have RHIDE which is : quite a versatile IDE. : Anyway I need an IDE that does syntax highlighting, and optionally a : bit of modularity. The "thing" you'll need is a application builder. I'm suprise that you could not get a decent answer for this topic in a Java Group. Usually it will start a flame war, on the best builder. : Anyway, I just thought it's more my sort of programmer over here, so : any help that's going, I'd be very grateful. I have a 486-DX4100 with : 24MB of RAM. There is a nice(I heard) Java IDE call Jedi, that does funky stuff not just hilight, follows the classes, shows the methods, imports, etc ... like Jbuilder or VisuaCafe but it's free. It is written in java so you will need a full Java Enviroment. I use sometimes(rather rarely) a NT box that have 16 Megs of RAM, it is true that when I start netscape ... hum things can get cosy. But I do manage to get the work done. -- au revoir, alain ---- Aussi haut que l'on soit assis, on est toujours assis que sur son cul !!!
