Hey, that's not fair. First off, I started DJGPP long before I became a "unix guy". I've been a DOS guy since DOS 1.0 (I still have the master disks to prove it, too). Second, DJGPP *is* a very complex package, especially given that various parts of it are updated at irregular and uncoordinated times. The FAQ alone is almost 200 pages! Installing the core of DJGPP boils down to unzipping a few files and adding two environment variables. If you think this is too complicated to manage without an install program, you probably shouldn't consider being a programmer. Everything else, of course, is effectively all third-party packages.
