Which version of gcc? (seems that You have gcc-2.8.1 or gcc-2.7.2.1 as
bug report address for egcs is different: egcs-bugs AT egcs DOT cygnus DOT com).

I suggest to try latest version available (perhaps egcs-1.1.2,
  	see ftp://ftp.cdrom.com/pub/simtelnet/gnu/djgpp/v2gnu/egcs/)
	if possible

Otherwise see
	http://egcs.cygnus.com/faq.html#bugreport
for instructions how to submit bug report. But be prepared that NO bugs
will be fixed in old version of gcc and even egcs-1.1.2. We can only
expect fixes in upcoming versions (if that is not done already)
