You must have downloaded the stuff just one or two hours after I did, because you seem to be having the same difficulties as me, just a few hours later each time! Anyway . . . Two bits of anti-expert advice here: First, when I was having the same problem, I got frustrated, gave up, and assumed I had set the thing up wrong. So I deleted everything in my DJGPP directory (I've got the *.zip files I downloaded somewhere else, of course) and re-installed it all. This allowed me to start over from scratch, since I wasn't too certain where I had messed it up. Second, when I re-installed RHIDE, I looked much more carefully for systems documentation than I had the first time, and I found c:\djgpp\docs\rhide\rhide.html. It's a copy of the page you would find at the RHIDE site, with hyperlinks to take you to the parts of the text that are important to you. I decided to use the section about "Creating you first Project" so that I could make sure I was doing everything exactly the right way. Now, I am compiling and running from the IDE without any problems at all. Hope this helps, but if not, check out the web site. It's sure to have many more useful tips than I can offer. --Brandon Williams-------------------------------- Sent via Deja.com http://www.deja.com/ Share what you know. Learn what you don't.
