I have an incoming signal at one COM port and I need to measure the time between two events with an accuracy of about 10 us (that is, an error <10 us is acceptable). I would like to use gettimeofday(), because uclock() reprograms the PIT and I need the timer myself for other things. Can anyone tell me how accurate is gettimeofday()? It has a field for microseconds, but I guess its resolution will be a bit lower... Regards, GUILLE ---- Guillermo Rodriguez Garcia XXguille AT XXiies DOT XXes (ya sabes :-)
