ESP is *normally* less than EBP (since x86 CPUs use a push-down stack).  
Only if the reverse is correct, or if both ESP and EBP are *very* low, 
you can suspect a stack-related catastrophe.

It seems like you've misread the FAQ.  Could you please look back there 
and tell me what has led you to this interpretation?  It is possible that 
I should change the wording to make it more clear.
