See section 20.3 of the DJGPP FAQ list, it explains how to get the mail 
either once a day or once a week, in one large chunk.

You can also read the mailing list traffic via WWW, at this URL:
   
   http://www.delorie.com/djgpp/mail-archives/browse.cgi

If you find the latter a good alternative, you can simply unsubscribe 
from the mailing list.
