1) Please be more specific about what options are you trying to set. 
(Global?, Local?, Editor's general?, etc.)
2) Can you send me one of the tracebacks generated by the editor? They are 
located in %DJDIR%/share/setedit as the e.bat informs if the editor crashes 
(ever run the editor from the batch).
