Speaking of gnomes and gnats, I feel like a gnome or a gnat about myself
for pushing too hard about that great not-to-be-mentioned editor. I have no
business doing that.

It's a mystery to me why it arouses almost religious emotions. I don't look
at it that way. It's just a good
utility to me. However, I do think Richard Stallman is a sort Messiah in a
secular sense--not for his editor but for GNU. [Read the history.]

Please forgive me. I got carried away. Oh, I'm right :), but that should be
my secret.

I've been collecting editors for 14 years, so I can see how you feel.
