Gcc is always included with linux distributions. It's ready to go "out of the box" when you install linux. I believe there is a linux port of RHIDE; but there are many other options. Xwpe, Code Crusader (a knockoff of Code Warrior), and others that don't come to mind right now. Top of the line for my money is the emacs-gcc-gdb combo. mp - -- Michael Powe Portland, Oregon USA michael AT trollope DOT org http://www.trollope.org "Three hours a day will produce as much as a man ought to write." -- Anthony Trollope -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v0.9.0 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Encrypted with Mailcrypt 3.5.1 and GNU Privacy Guard iD8DBQE28gRg755rgEMD+T8RAl7+AKC3LbC0tBfgUthlO4mKSyeBmpPTUQCdFOGC gcRV8UGi/+RWlXnDQv1uj3Q= =D3Qm -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
