Allegro uses the BLASTER environment variable to detect your card,
so you probably haven't set that, or have put the wrong information
in it. Alternatively, edit your allegro.cfg file or run the Allegro
setup program (in the setup directory) to manually select the 
parameters, and then set the ALLEGRO environment variable to the
directory containing your config file.

Where did you get this distribution? All the official djgpp packages
are in .zip format...
