That's just to announce that the release 1.0.1 was uploaded to simtelnet. That's based in TVision 2.0. For those who don't know what's that: Turbo Vision (TVision for short) is a TUI (Text User Interface) library implemented in C++. It have a good design (not perfect but well based). It implements menues, windows, dialogs, text input, buttons, radio and check buttons, etc, etc. So you can write programs with "intuitive" (it means CUA like) interface for text mode. * The library isn't 100% compatible with the Borland's original one. * The distribution is under de GPL license. * The library can be compiled under Linux. * The binary distribution contains debug informatio and a script to cut this information if you don't need it. * You don't need LFNs to use it. * gcc 2.8.x is recomended but not needed (2.7.2 should work) * The binary is compiled without RTTI structures, read the readme about it. * The files are uncompressed in a directory called tvision (not contrib/tvision) be carefull.
