Because nobody wrote that support.

When the GCC maintainers get to it.  (I'd be surprised if it were before
the release of GCC 2.9-- and don't ask me when *that* will be.) 
Remember, this is free, so you can't force people to do it.  If you
*really* need it, you could write it yourself, or hire someone to do it.
