This is to announce that the DJGPP port of GNU Readline library version 2.2
should soon be available at

and mirrors. This port is based on the diffs available at

http://www.cs.vu.nl/~mdruiter/rl22.dif

The only changes I made relative to those were to put the contents of
config.h.bot inside acconfig.h (as the Autoconf manual recommends) and
rename config.h.in to config-h.in (and change configure.in accordingly).
Therefore the library can be remade even without LFN support. The source
distribution comes already configured for DJGPP. Trying to make .dvi files
gives lots of warnings about overfull boxes, but I didn't have time to
investigate this; nor to write any DJGPP-specific README file. Still, I
hope this release will be useful.
