Typing "symify" without arguments gives brief instructions. Specific information on how to use symify can be found in chapter 9.2 of the DJGPP FAQ. Basic operation: compile your program with '-g' switch to add full debugging information. Do whatever is necessary to make the program crash. When the traceback appears on the screen, type "symify " where is the name of your executable. The function, file, and line number will be displayed on the screen next to each line of the traceback. Symify can also read a traceback from a file or save its output to a file. -- --------------------------------------------------------------------- | John M.
