I got a problem with my joystick and Allegro in general. I currently have Allegro 3.0, plus I keep up with the WIP, so I have the latest from May 98. I have two joysticks, a Flight Pro stick and a PC ProPad 4. The Flight Pro stick is of no problems, although I see that Allegro does not seem to use the HAT switch as I saw from the example program. My problem comes from the ProPad which is a digital joystick. In the Allegro Joystick example program, I can go anywhere but to the left, even after calibrating it. Sometimes, depending on how I calibrate it, my joystick is moving to the right. Sometimes it does not unless I move it to the right, but it will go up and down and to the right and all four buttons work, but for some reason it refuses to go to the left. It works perfectly fine in all of my games (except flight which I use the other joystick). I am not using a Y connector or anything, so one joystick is usually sitting next to the computer while the other is plugged in. I also noticed that there was a Super Nintendo emulator written using Allegro, and there was still the same problem, I cannot move to the left. I don't know why but Allegro seems to be the only program that is having problems with my PC ProPad 4. Got any ideas on how to fix this? All other games I play use it very well except Allegro. Don't know why though.... Mike Swaby Warrior of the valKyrie Fighters. No, I aint a priest nor a preacher, I am a Warrior!!!!
