I hope it's not in poor taste announcing something like this :)  That said...

I've written yet another Asteroids clone with DJGPP using Allegro and the
MIDAS sound system.  It comes with both the source and the binary.  You can
download it at http://www.enteract.com/~naisbodo/files/ast-src.zip .

Anyway, let me know if you find the source interesting/helpful/bad/whatever
