To be honest, I would guess that there are bugs in egcs that don't exist
in gcc, and bugs in gcc that don't exist in egcs.  Also there are 
probably bugs in pgcc that don't exist in either gcc or egcs.  Also, 
the number of pgcc users is somewhere between 500-1000 (just going by
downloads), which is much smaller then the number of gcc users.  Its possible
too that some of the gcc bugs exist in pgcc but have not been reported. 
Regardless, pgcc 1.0.1 (c only) is stable enough for commercial use I think 
...  The snapshots are another story.
