Version 2.8.1 (just out) has much better template support for C++ and
includes a more complete version of the STL (the SGI implementation).
It also has better exception handling support which was broken in
2.8.0.  Those are the only thing I can think of at the moment.  Get it
if you need to use templates in C++!
