I have tested the situation and yes, RHIDE froze, but I recovered the 
control with <ctrl break> getting out to DOS and my proyects files 
survived.
I am working with a spanish version of RHIDE then the sequence is 

	Help | Indice de RHIDE | Highlighting Syntax
or
	SHIFT F1 | Highlighting Syntax
